It’s been a good bit since I updated my website because of a busy fishing schedule and trying to stay abreast of my Spinnerbait orders. I fished Sugar several times with good success and Fished Falcon Twice with equal success. I only have pictures of the Sugar trip last week as my camera was unintentionally put in a client bag and I am waiting for the return. I did go and get a spare so I only have the shots of a three day trip to Sugar. In Both lakes the water has risen about the same. It has caused the deep bite to dwindle a tad and the shallow bite is really on the rise. On both lakes Shallow is where you can get bit. Try slow rolling a Chart and white JoBaby FLT Spinnerbait spinnerbait through the tops of trees or use a shallow running crankbait in the same areas. Buzzbaits have been reported to work. Fish the flooded grass and seana beans (I think that’s how it is spelled). Deep fish can still be caught on Football jigs and crankbaits but the shallow bite has really come on. More to come.

Recent rains have raised Falcon and Sugar 6 feet and water is still coming down the river.
